  • 1 cup dried chickpeas soaked overnight in cold water w/ 1 tbsp baking soda (P)
  • 1 tbsp baking soda for the ingredient above
  • 4 ice cubes
  • 1 clove garlic
  • ¼ cup tahini
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Parsley for garnish
  • 1 tsp paprika for garnish
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt


  • Boil the soaked chickpeas in salted water until soft and very tender
  • Combine the chickpeas and garlic in the food processor until a paste forms
  • Add the tahini, lemon juice, salt, garlic and a single ice cube to the chickpea mix and blend in the food processor on high for 1 minute. Slowly add one more ice cube at a time until fully incorporate

Chef's Tips

Add more lemon or more garlic to the hummus depending on your desired flavor profiles
